About the Program

The Eastern Colorado Health Care System pharmacy processes over 5,000 prescriptions daily. Many of these prescriptions are filled by the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP). Prescriptions should be refilled by phone or the Internet.

The Outpatient Pharmacies in Denver and Colorado Springs offer services to patients requiring new urgent medications prescribed during their clinic visit or for patients being discharged from the Medical Center.

Services Offered

Automated Refill Line

An automated refill line is available for all Eastern Colorado Healthcare System patients. Please call the following number for assistance:

  • 303-399-8020, Option 1, Option 1
  • 888-336-8262, Option 1, Option 1

After you have dialed the number, wait for the automated attendant to answer.

  1. Enter your entire social security number, then press the # key and wait for an answer.
  2. Press 2, wait for an answer.
  3. Press 1, wait for an answer.
  4. Enter the prescription number, then press the # key and wait for an answer.
  5. To refill additional prescriptions, press 1 and repeat the process.

Refills should be reordered as soon as you receive your prescription, but must be ordered at least 14 days prior to when the refill is due to ensure prompt processing and delivery time.

Internet Refill

Prescriptions may also be filled online using VA's My HealtheVet program. You will need a User ID and password to log in. If you do not have one, you can easily get one by creating your personal profile. You may also track any of your prescriptions that are mailed from our Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) via My HealtheVet.

Health Information Call Center

The Health Information Call Center can also be used for medication renewal or if you have questions about your medications.
