Dr. Kris Johnson Wins Award
Dr. Kris Johnson is presented with LocumTenens.com's Physician of the Year Award
Dr. Kris Johnson was recently presented with LocumTenens.com's Physician of the Year Award for his volunteer work at the ACI Lift Clinic in West Denver.
Dr. Johnson (an Army OIF Veteran) who is the Medical Director for both the Golden VA Clinic and our OIF/OEF/OND program, also volunteers at the ACS Lift Clinic as the Medical Director. In addition to seeing patients at the clinic, Dr. Johnson has purchased medications for patients who couldn't normally afford them and regularly gives out bus passes to ensure patients make their follow-up appointments.
Dr. Johnson is the first Domestic Service Honoree, the first Primary Care Physician, and the first VA physician honored with this award. In addition to the award, the ACI Lift Clinic was presented with a $10,000 donation on behalf of Dr. Johnson.
