My Healthe Vet
The My HealtheVet site provides veterans and their families excellent, reliable patient education information as well as the latest VA News. Information about veterans benefits and services is also available.
Upon registering with My HealtheVet, you will be able to —
- refill prescriptions online
- keep personal food and activity journals
- monitor your personal health data, such as blood pressure and pain levels
- maintain your own self-entered personal health record
MOVE!
Veterans and family can obtain health information from the Eastern Colorado Healthcare System MOVE! Coordinator, Beth Hovel.
MOVE! is a national weight management program designed by the VA National Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention (NCP), a part of Office of Patient Care Services, to help veterans lose weight, keep it off and improve their health. MOVE!
Patient Educator
The Eastern Colorado Healthcare System has a Patient Educator to provide initial and ongoing health education during scheduled sessions three times each week. Courses focus on —
- health promotion
- upcoming tests and procedures
- medications
- navigating the VA healthcare system
- diagnoses
- treatments

C.A.R.E. Channel
A pateint focused relaxation channel is available for all inpatient rooms and in some waiting areas. Ask the staff for further information on how to access the system.
